I am Diksha, a current undergrad in Economics at Miranda House, University of Delhi. Currently I am passionate about economics, geopolitics and international relations. 

This page was founded by me way back in class 11th when I was a dreamy school girl in Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram. It is a personal project to articulate my views and feelings about everything that I am passionate about.

Hopelessness?

 The small world of mine seems to have been dwindled into hopelessness. Online classes have been called off till further notice. The reason behind these doldrums is COVID-19, which has spread its pangs on the entire India. Pathetic indeed! On contemplating deeply, the small problems   issues that I face are a mere trifle in front of the hardships being faced by the entire world. Here I am worried about my career but some people don't have access to a proper square meal of a day. The wish to travel around and enjoy the bounties of nature seems quite selfish. There exist a myriad of people who are isolated within the four walls due to testing positive in the PCR test. This is college life, isn't it?

While bustling from one bus to metro, I felt lost. Lost in the void ocean of life. It felt like living an ordinary soldier's life without any distinct recognisation in the army of workaholic humans. There was commotion in every nook and corner of every sphere of life. The hustle of completing notes to the bustle of making friends, the commotion to make all ends meet. A maddening rush existed from the corridors of college to the auto stands. Competition exists in every teensy weensy thing one does. From fighting and securing that last seat to working that extra mile to keep pace with studies and college activities, I realized that life isn't a cakewalk!
